About The Position

The Systems Analyst III is responsible for leading research and analysis to identify systems impacted by requirements, possible interfaces, cross team dependencies and affected lines of business. This role involves translating business needs and technical requirements by authoring clear agile stories and features, serving as a liaison between technical teams and users, and performing root cause analysis. The position requires a high degree of autonomy in problem-solving and decision-making within established operational boundaries. The Systems Analyst III will also contribute to planning activities, developing business case documents, and assisting QA with test scenarios and data. The role involves setting objectives, impacting other job areas, and contributing to operational goals. Problems and issues faced are often vague and require reasoning and analysis to address. Updates and modifications to work methods are based on past experiences, and solutions are identified by recognizing similarities through data trends. The individual will use personal experiences and make judgment calls, potentially consulting others for solutions.

Requirements

Advanced Agile delivery experience including backlog refinement, story decomposition, acceptance criteria development, dependency management, and sprint-readiness activities.
Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO) and Agile planning tools used to manage requirements, features, stories, dependencies, and traceability.
Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions, requirements-gathering activities, and cross-functional collaboration.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
Five (5) years of experience in requirements management is required
Five (5) years of experience working in Facets, CCA, SAP, CRMs or other similar enterprise systems is required
Familiarity with the healthcare environment (Medicaid/Medicare) is required
Experience designing interfaces and/or mocking up user interfaces to support and display the information in multiple UI disciplines (Web, Mobile, Client Server, etc.) is required
Ability to establish effective working relationships with stakeholders at all different levels
Proficient in all areas of requirements elicitation (facilitation, process modeling, requirements documentation)
Experience in creating and writing technical specifications within an agile framework: Epic, Feature, Story, and Task; understands key components of good story writing to enable adaptation of standard industry formats and approaches for effective use
Understanding of project lifecycles coupled with the software development lifecycle, including processes, techniques, continuous delivery, tools agile, test driven development, and waterfall
Thorough understanding of business analysis principles
Flexibility during organizational and/or business changes
Effective problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to develop, prioritize and accomplish goals
Strong interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills; listening and critical thinking
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Nice To Haves

Strong systems-thinking skills with the ability to analyze end-to-end business processes, system interactions, and upstream/downstream dependencies.
Process: Experience partnering with business and technical stakeholders to define, document, maintain, and improve end-to-end business processes.
Experience creating business process flows, system diagrams, data flows, data mapping documentation, customer journeys, and other analysis artifacts.
Training/Documentation: Experience developing training materials, delivering training sessions, and providing knowledge transfer to support adoption of new processes and system capabilities.
Certifications around our core technical systems is preferred; Facets, CCA, SAP,CRMs or other similar Enterprise systems that mimic those CareSource invests in
Certifications around Agile, SAFE, or the Business or System Analyst role is preferred

Build, sustain, and leverage relationships with persons within his/her area of immediate responsibility
Assist QA in preparation of test scenarios and test data

Contributes and provides input to the development of operational area goals within the context of own job area. Work consists of tasks that are typically not routine, works independently and applies discretion within established operational boundaries and procedures. Work direction is only provided for new areas of work or unique assignments.
