About The Position

GDIT is hiring a Systems Administrator to support the Navy Maritime Maintenance Enterprise System (NMMES) Facilities and Equipment Maintenance (FEM) mission. The role involves leading, managing, and supporting FEM missions through carefully configured IBM Maximo applications. The position is onsite in Montgomery, Alabama, and requires an active Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and a baseline security certification or an accepted higher-level certification.

Requirements

At least 1 year of related experience.
Technical training, certification(s), or a degree.
Comprehensive knowledge of desktop operating systems and applications.
Active Secret security clearance.
U.S. citizenship.
A required baseline certification: Security+ ce, CySA+, or CCNA Security; higher certifications such as CASP+ ce, CCNP Security, or CISSP are acceptable.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and support FEM missions using meticulously configured IBM Maximo applications.
Use advanced diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions.
Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software.
Provide end-user software troubleshooting and support.
Collaborate with third-party service providers to help ensure customer-facing services are available when required.
