About The Position

The Boeing Attack Program is seeking a dynamic System Safety Engineering Manager (Systems Engineering Management) to manage the Product Integrity / Mission Assurance Team in Mesa, AZ. This individual will be responsible for leading the System Safety Engineering team.

Requirements

Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
Experience performing systems engineering activities in full systems engineering lifecycle.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Experience with the concepts of Model Based Engineering, Digital Thread, and Digital System Modeling

Responsibilities

Oversees the identification, analysis, and assessment of regulatory and contractual compliance of aerospace systems, products and services.
Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of System Safety.
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Manages, develops and motivates employees.
