About The Position

Mount Sinai Medical Center is hiring a System Analyst Epic Radiant for its EHR Implementation department. This hybrid role requires Florida residency and Epic Radiant certification. The analyst uses expertise in Epic Radiant and working knowledge of laboratory information systems and clinical workflows to lead application design, build, testing, upgrades, and optimization. The role supports complex laboratory workflows, reporting, downtime processes, and system integrations while promoting compliance, data integrity, and reliable performance. The analyst partners with vendors and clinical stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions aligned with operational and regulatory requirements. The position leads small- to medium-sized application projects, including Epic upgrades, adoption of new functionality, and enhancements to integrated workflows. It provides advanced application support, workflow analysis and design, data management, process improvement, testing, end-user support and training, and project leadership. The analyst maintains current application knowledge, helps resolve complex user issues, and works with technical experts, vendors, and technology teams to maintain dependable systems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
Epic Radiant certification required.
At least 2 years of Radiant build experience.
Critical-thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Florida residency required.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree preferred.
At least 1 year of imaging experience preferred.
Working knowledge of laboratory information systems and clinical workflows.

Responsibilities

Lead design, build, and testing for small- to medium-sized application projects, including Epic upgrades, adoption of new functionality, and enhancements to integrated workflows.
Provide Epic product expertise for design, build, and testing of assigned modules, including Beaker.
Analyze application capabilities, program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, reporting techniques and structure, and data controls.
Maintain assigned applications in partnership with technical experts, vendors, and technology teams; test and troubleshoot systems to resolve and anticipate issues.
Contribute to application development and deployment planning and identify areas for improvement.
Resolve end-user inquiries and application problems, consulting vendors when needed.
Lead data management and process improvement activities for assigned applications.
Contribute to system design and upgrades, and advise vendors on patches and upgrades to maintain reliable, current functionality.
Analyze end-user requirements and resolve complex user requests and issues; participate in end-user support and training, business process refinement, and reporting support.
Manage application projects or serve as project lead for a module or system requiring substantial subject-matter expertise or certification.
Maintain advanced knowledge of operational workflows supported by business or clinical applications.
Take ownership of service issues, ensure accurate communications and deliverables, meet committed timelines, support service recovery, and communicate consistently with customers.
Perform workflow analysis and design with input and guidance from operational leadership.
Participate in system testing by executing scripts.
Perform upgrade and optimization activities with vendor assistance.
Participate in departmental and customer team meetings, present meeting content, and provide team support such as note-taking.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of assigned applications and process areas.
Participate in testing downtime processes.
Provide input into the development of user training content.
