About The Position

Inova Health is seeking a senior EPIC Certified Systems Analyst to join its EPIC ClinDoc team. This full-time, fully remote role works regular daytime office hours, Monday through Friday, and is available to candidates residing in VA, MD, DC, DE, FL, GA, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, or WV. The analyst implements and maintains EpicCare systems and databases, evaluates new releases and their workflow impact, defines software or database modifications, and facilitates updates and enhancements. The role also manages complex IT projects and products, oversees testing, supports project scoping, communicates and escalates issues, assesses technical and application proposals, coordinates vendor evaluations, and contributes to team training and mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or four years of relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum experience requirement.
• Three years of Epic build and implementation experience.
• EPIC ClinDoc certification required upon starting.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain EpicCare systems and databases to ensure optimum performance.
• Analyze new releases and determine their impact on workflows.
• Define modifications to application software or databases to address system functions or enhancements.
• Facilitate Epic updates, new releases, and system enhancements.
• Manage all phases of testing and assist the Lead/Project Manager with work effort and project scoping.
• Manage complex IT projects and products to provide automated solutions that meet Inova Health System business needs using EpicCare.
• Initiate issues for resolution, escalating and communicating status to management in a timely manner.
• Conduct and participate in system technical and application reviews to assess feasibility, cost, and usefulness for Inova.
• Coordinate vendor demonstrations, site visits, and reference calls.
• Recommend team and analyst training programs and assist with developing and implementing team-member training and mentoring activities.
