Part-Time Swim Instructor - Fairless Hills
About The Position
Big Blue Swim School is hiring a part-time Swim Instructor to teach children ranging from babies to school-age swimmers at its indoor pool in Fairless Hills. Instructors teach small-group lessons using a step-by-step curriculum focused on making lessons fun, effective, and safe. No prior teaching experience is needed; paid training includes lifeguard and CPR certification, and every instructor completes more than 100 hours of training before teaching a first lesson. The position pays $14 to $18 per hour. Shifts are weekday afternoons and evenings until 8 p.m. and weekend mornings, with a set weekly schedule. Instructors must be available for at least two weekday afternoons or one weekend morning. The heated indoor pool is located at 524 Lincoln Highway in Fairless Hills. The employer offers free swim lessons for employees’ children and opportunities to progress to Lead and management roles.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years old.
- Be comfortable in the water.
- Be patient, upbeat, and good with children.
- Pass a background check.
- Be available for at least two weekday afternoons or one weekend morning.
