About The Position

The Sushi Clerk provides customer service that exceeds expectations while preparing sushi according to the menu, the number of people to be served, and company recipes. The role uses proper kitchen equipment and serves customers with a friendly, willing attitude. The Sushi Clerk builds customer relationships to encourage repeat business and follows the employee handbook, particularly its service and appearance standards. The position is expected to meet and exceed company standards for food, service, quality, and cleanliness. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sushi in quantities appropriate to the menu and number of people to be served.
• Prepare sushi items according to company recipes.
• Use proper kitchen equipment to prepare sushi items.
• Serve customers with a smile and a willing attitude.
• Build relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and support high sales.
• Follow the employee handbook, especially service standards and appearance requirements.
• Meet and exceed company standards for food, service, quality, and cleanliness.
