About The Position

The Survey Coordinator is responsible for timely and proper management of all survey-related matters, including new orders, quotes, and inspections, in coordination with the company’s clients, surveyors, and vendors. This role may also assist with the title process as necessary to meet delivery deadlines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • One-year data entry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of title insurance or real estate helpful.
  • Proficient on computer; typing speed of 50+ wpm.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks under deadlines and to work independently.
  • Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills; accuracy/quality; teamwork; cooperation.
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time in order to process files in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently manage all survey related matters, new orders, quotes and inspections with company’s clients, surveyors and vendors. This process may include any of the following: ordering surveys or survey inspections, obtaining survey quotes, reviewing existing surveys against underwriting guidelines, reading surveys into title commitments, writing or plotting legal descriptions, vendor management, typing, careful proofing, assembling, photocopying and packaging. Double and triple check work.
  • Distribute documents to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as requested, including: filing, labeling, faxing, copying, indexing, etc. May troubleshoot department office equipment problems.
  • Respond in a timely, professional and courteous manner to questions regarding the status of surveys when requested by other title staff or clients.
  • Follow up with other staff members to ensure accuracy of each of the products produced.
  • May be responsible to cross-train in other title products, learning additional steps of the title process in order to backup other departmental tasks. May serve as a backup to other staff in their absence.
  • Perform other related duties of a comparable type as assigned.
