About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer for its Security Emergency Dispatch Center in Tampa, Florida. The officer monitors security systems and screens to identify suspicious activity and potential threats, responds to incidents, documents events, conducts patrols, and helps protect people and property. Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have good eyesight and the ability to maintain focus.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Be able to obtain a Class D Security License.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a command center dispatcher/operator or in a high-volume call center is preferred.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to help ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitors’ identities.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
• Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards when appropriate.
