About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer for a site in Sikeston, Missouri. The role involves monitoring security systems and screens to spot threats before they escalate, as well as helping protect people and property. The schedule is part-time, Saturday through Sunday, on the first shift from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. The hourly wage is $17. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Have a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitors’ identities.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in serious situations or emergencies.
