About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor security systems and identify threats before they escalate. The officer works in a surveillance environment and helps protect people and property by observing activity, documenting incidents, responding to potential threats, conducting patrols, and controlling access to secure areas. The position is located in Vernon Hills, Illinois, and is full-time, Monday through Friday, on the first shift from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The hourly wage is $18.50. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Hold a valid Illinois PERC.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
