About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Guard to identify potential threats before they escalate. The role involves monitoring security systems in settings such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses, as well as conducting mobile patrols outside a fulfillment center, including parking lots and trailer yards. Mobile patrols are conducted in a company vehicle.

Multiple schedules are available, with specific schedules discussed during the phone interview: mornings from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, evenings from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, or nights from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Each shift may include weekdays and weekends. The hourly wage is $17.72. A uniform is provided at no cost. Requirements

• At least one year of security experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process.
• Strong report-writing skills.
• Good eyesight and the ability to maintain focus.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• A state license, if required.
• At least 18 years of age, or 21 for driving positions, as required by applicable law or contractual requirements.
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, or climb stairs for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• CPR certification; GardaWorld will help obtain this during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mobile patrols of the fulfillment center's exterior, including parking lots and trailer yards, using a company vehicle.
• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.

• Conduct regular patrols to help ensure premises safety.
