About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor security systems and identify potential threats before they escalate. The role involves watching screens in settings such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses, documenting incidents, responding to threats, patrolling premises, controlling access, and helping protect people and property. The position is located in Vernon Hills, Illinois, and is scheduled full time, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The hourly wage is $18.50. Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Hold a valid Illinois PERC.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process, as well as a post-offer background check and drug screening.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a state license if required.

Responsibilities
