About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Credential Screening in Garner, North Carolina, you will help safeguard a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The role involves customer service, monitoring access and visitor activity, responding to incidents, and conducting interior and exterior patrols. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal’s driver policy. The position is part-time, scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, at $18.36 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic to deter unauthorized entry and support a professional workplace environment.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, communicating relevant information promptly to site contacts or emergency responders.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter; document observations and report unusual conditions.
Complete reports, logs, and incident documentation accurately according to company and site procedures.
