About The Position

The Surveillance Operator monitors casino operations using surveillance equipment to help ensure the safety and security of guests, team members, and company assets. The role identifies suspicious activity and potential theft or fraud, supports compliance with gaming regulations, and helps maintain the integrity of casino operations. The position requires professionalism, confidentiality, sound judgment, and attention to detail while supporting operational excellence and responsible gaming.

Requirements

• Strong observation skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prepare clear, accurate, detailed reports.
• Ability to sit for extended periods while monitoring surveillance equipment.
• Ability to use computers, keyboards, telephones, and surveillance equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in English.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn surveillance technology.

Nice To Haves

• Previous casino surveillance, gaming, security, loss prevention, or related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor live surveillance video of gaming activities, casino entrances and exits, cash-handling areas, and other designated locations.
• Observe slot machines, table games, cage operations, the count room, food and beverage outlets, and other designated locations.
• Identify potential theft, fraud, cheating, policy violations, and other irregularities.
• Monitor gaming transactions and activities to help ensure compliance with internal controls and applicable gaming regulations.
• Recognize unusual guest or team member behavior and promptly report concerns to management.
• Conduct surveillance reviews and investigations as directed by management.
• Accurately document incidents, suspicious activities, and surveillance observations in daily logs and reports.
• Preserve and retrieve surveillance footage in accordance with company policies and procedures.
