About The Position

This role is for our Swing Shift (4pm-12am) and offers a pay of $16.50 per hour. It's an exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino, located just 10 minutes from the beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City, MD. The position involves working with an awesome overnight team to ensure guests have a good time. This is a full-time, year-round position with an excellent compensation package, including medical, paid sick time, paid vacation time, paid personal time, holiday pay, and 401k options. Requirements

Vision must be correctable to 20/20.
Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
Ability to consistently comprehend, retain and execute written, verbal and demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in casino surveillance preferred.

Responsibilities

Responds to calls requesting the need for surveillance coverage.
Conducts surveillance through the CCTV system utilizing the necessary equipment to observe, report and record procedural violations and unusual activities.
Communicates violations in a timely manner to appropriate supervisory personnel and follows up with accurate and detailed documentation.
Prepares additional reports as needed.
Conducts tape reviews as assigned.
Documents equipment malfunctions.
Responsible for compliance with State Lottery Regulations, Internal Controls and company Policies & Procedures.
Promotes outstanding customer relations.
Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
