About The Position

The Surveillance Operator Trainee is responsible for successfully completing the surveillance operator training program. Training covers detecting illegal activity and violations of company and surveillance policies and procedures, as well as compliance requirements under federal, state, and local gaming laws and regulations. The role involves monitoring video, maintaining surveillance records and video evidence, enforcing gaming laws and company policies, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of casino games.
• Knowledge of computers, video switching, and video tape recorders.
• Ability to remember and recognize individuals.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Michigan gaming laws and regulations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Observe activity on video monitors and detect illegal activity.
• Change tapes in VCRs.
• Maintain accurate and complete logs.
• Make clear and usable video tapes.
• Testify in court.
• Enforce all gaming laws and regulations.
• Enforce all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
