About The Position

The Surveillance Agent Trainee observes the Harrah’s and Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe properties to deter and detect cheating, theft, and other activities that may endanger guests, employees, or property. The role involves monitoring casino games, assets, money-handling areas, and high-security areas; retrieving information from databases and files; and checking surveillance cameras, DVRs, and operating equipment. The position requires integrity, adherence to regulatory and company policies, and the ability to remain anonymous while observing live gaming and money-handling areas. It also includes physical and sensory demands such as using repetitive motions, climbing ladders and stairs, sitting or standing for extended periods, moving around the property, and working in potentially noisy public areas where guests may use tobacco products. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Fluent and literate in English.
Ability to remain anonymous to customers and team members while observing live gaming or money-handling areas.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good math skills.
Ability to demonstrate a high level of integrity and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
Ability to act as a role model to other team members and represent Caesars Entertainment positively.
Ability to use repetitive motion, reach, grasp, hold, and perform finger-dexterity tasks.
Ability to hear, see, and distinguish colors; vision correctable to 20/20. Vision testing may be required.
Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Mobility to move quickly and easily around the property.
Ability to work in a noisy environment and possible exposure to guests who use tobacco products.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in gaming and/or surveillance.
Computer experience.

Responsibilities

Observe casino games to deter and catch cheating activities.
Observe casino assets and money-handling areas to deter and catch theft activities.
Monitor high-security areas for suspicious activities and report them to help ensure the safety of guests, team members, and property.
Enter and retrieve information from computer databases and hard-copy files for use in surveillance activities.
Check cameras, DVRs, and operating equipment to ensure they are effective for surveillance activities.
Adhere to regulatory, company, and department policies and procedures.
