Surveillance Officer- On Call (Harrah's Atlantic City)
About The Position
The Surveillance Officer maintains surveillance on designated areas and activities, records irregular activity as required, and participates in the supervision, operation, and/or support of Harrah’s multi-casino Bad Beat system. The role requires signing an acknowledgement of applicable regulatory requirements before employment in the Surveillance Department. The officer is expected to respond to internal guests’ needs with friendly, respectful, clear communication; provide accurate and timely information; follow service behaviors and standards; cooperate with colleagues across departments; and speak positively about the company, coworkers, and guests. The position pays $20.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Knowledge of casino games, rules, procedures, and administration.
- Knowledge of camera equipment and required methods of operation and recording.
- Knowledge of game-cheating methods and related illegal activities.
- NJ CER license required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain surveillance on designated areas and activities.
- Record irregular activity as required.
- Participate in the supervision, operation, and/or support of Harrah’s multi-casino Bad Beat system.
- Sign an acknowledgement of regulatory requirements under N.J.A.C. 19:45 1.11(c)(2) before employment in the Surveillance Department.
- Respond to internal guests’ needs and communicate in a friendly, respectful, and understandable manner.
- Provide consistent, timely, and accurate information, and find answers when unsure.
- Follow outlined service behaviors and meet department service delivery standards.
- Cooperate with employees within the department and across other departments.
- Speak positively about the company, coworkers, and guests.
