About The Position

The Bartender Banquet Extra works exclusively at banquet functions on a rotating, on-call basis at Harrah's Atlantic City. The role prepares and serves drinks, processes payments, manages beverage supplies, and monitors guest alcohol consumption in accordance with guidelines and PRIDE certification. Bartenders are expected to provide consistently superior customer service, maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere, anticipate guest needs, resolve service issues, promote Total Rewards programs, and thank guests for visiting. The stated pay is $17.94 per hour.

Requirements

Knowledge of operating a cash register and bar equipment.
Bartender certification as required by the Bartenders Union.
NJ CER license required.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate superior customer service and maintain an upbeat, positive attitude and enthusiastic, welcoming demeanor.
Greet guests warmly, build relationships, anticipate needs, and provide fast, flawless service.
Check guest satisfaction and effectively resolve service breakdowns.
Promote Total Rewards programs and card membership.
Provide a warm farewell and thank guests for visiting.
Prepare ordered drinks using proper portions and ingredients.
Operate a cash register, enter the correct amount, and provide the correct change to guests or servers.
Maintain respectful control over guests.
Manage beverages, fruit, and supplies resourcefully to maintain low beverage costs.
Work exclusively at banquet functions on a rotating basis.
Monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene as needed under applicable guidelines and PRIDE certification.
