About The Position

The Banquet Extra Bartender provides beverage service exclusively for banquet functions on a rotating basis. The role prepares and serves drinks, operates a cash register, maintains control over guest service, and monitors alcohol consumption, intervening as needed under applicable guidelines and PRIDE certification. The bartender is expected to provide consistently superior customer service, maintain an upbeat and positive attitude, anticipate guest needs, deliver fast and accurate service, resolve service issues, promote Total Rewards programs and card membership, and thank guests as they leave. The listed pay is $17.94 per hour.

Requirements

• Knowledge of operating a cash register and bar equipment.
• Certified bartender, as required by the Bartenders Union.
• NJ CER license required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ordered drinks using proper portions and ingredients.
• Operate a cash register, enter the correct amounts, and provide guests or servers with the correct change.
• Maintain respectful control over guests.
• Manage beverages, fruit, and supplies resourcefully to help maintain low beverage costs.
• Work banquet functions on a rotating basis.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene as needed according to guidelines and PRIDE certification.
• Demonstrate superior customer service, maintain a positive attitude, anticipate guest needs, check for satisfaction, resolve service breakdowns, promote Total Rewards programs and card membership, and provide a warm farewell.
