About The Position

As an on-call Banquet Bartender, deliver exceptional bar service and help elevate the guest experience. The starting pay is $10.70 per hour as a base wage, with the potential to earn up to $40 per hour in gratuities. Turning Stone Enterprises operates the Turning Stone Resort Casino, satellite casinos, convenience stores, golf courses, and other businesses.

Requirements

• Prior experience in alcohol beverage service.
• Knowledge of liquor service standards, compliance laws, and responsible service techniques.
• Ability to complete alcohol service training.
• Working knowledge of acceptable forms of identification and ability to identify altered or false IDs.
• Proficiency in counting money and making correct change.
• Ability to create positive guest experiences that encourage repeat business.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service and greet guests by name.
• Stock beer, soda, liquor, glassware, and paper products at the start and end of each shift.
• Prepare cocktails according to specifications and offer drink recommendations.
• Keep the bar area clean and wash bar dishes.
• Enter drink orders accurately into the POS system.
• Use FLAG protocol when serving alcohol to guests under 35.
• Identify signs of intoxication and appropriately stop alcohol service.
