Surgical Technologist II - Sign-on Bonus Up To 2K
About The Position
The Surgical Technologist II works under the direct supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse and/or physician and is assigned as an assistant to specific service areas in the Surgical Suite. The position is part of Cooper’s fast-paced, high-tech surgical services environment, which includes 30 operating rooms and more than 70 surgeries each day. Cooper’s surgical team cares for complex cases and offers opportunities for learning, growth, and career advancement. The position requires a 6:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m. schedule, with weekend, holiday, and call rotation. Surgical Technologists must complete 15 hours of continuing education annually to remain qualified to practice in New Jersey. A sign-on bonus is available to certified candidates, with the amount based on employment status and commitment period; the offer is valid through December 31, 2026.
Requirements
- Graduate of a nationally or regionally accredited educational program for Surgical Technologists.
- Hold a Certified Surgical Technologist credential administered by the NBSTSA or its successor, or another nationally recognized credentialing organization such as NCCT.
- Complete 15 hours of continuing education annually to remain qualified to practice as a Surgical Technologist in New Jersey.
- Participate in weekend, holiday, and call rotation.

Benefits
- Sign-on bonus for certified candidates: $4,000 for full-time or $2,000 for part-time with a two-year commitment; $2,000 for full-time or $1,000 for part-time with a one-year commitment. Offer valid through December 31, 2026.
