About The Position

The Surgical Technologist, under the direct supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse and/or physician, is assigned as an assistant to specific service areas in the Surgical Suite. The role is based in a fast-paced, high-tech surgical environment. At Cooper’s Camden Campus, the OR team works in a setting with 30 operating rooms and more than 70 surgeries each day, including complex cases. Cooper’s growing surgical services offer opportunities for learning, growth, and career advancement.

Requirements

• Graduate of a nationally or regionally accredited educational program for Surgical Technologists.
• Hold a Certified Surgical Technologist credential administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or its successor, or another nationally recognized credentialing organization such as NCCT.
• Weekend, holiday, and call rotation required.

Nice To Haves

• One year of Surgical Technologist experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assigned service areas in the Surgical Suite under the direct supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse and/or physician.

Benefits

• Sign-on bonus for certified candidates: with a two-year commitment, $4,000 for full-time or $2,000 for part-time; with a one-year commitment, $2,000 for full-time or $1,000 for part-time. Offer valid through December 31, 2026.
