Requirements

Completion of a two-year post-high school program in an approved school of radiologic technology REQUIRED
ARRT certification, R.T.(R) REQUIRED
Massachusetts state radiologic technology license REQUIRED
Two or more years of work experience REQUIRED
Knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, and radiologic equipment operation REQUIRED
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills REQUIRED

Hospital work experience preferred

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiology examinations as a Radiology Technologist
Operate and maintain radiologic equipment according to department standards
Interact effectively with patients, including those experiencing apprehension about their exams
Instruct students and provide technical supervision to staff technologists
Implement policies and procedures as directed by the Radiology Supervisor, Operations Manager, and Radiology Administration Director
Collaborate with the Chief Technologist and technical group leadership
