About The Position
Interventional Radiology combines advanced imaging technology with minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat a wide variety of conditions. This role offers the opportunity to work in a highly specialized environment while developing expertise in an innovative and rapidly growing field. As an IR Technologist, you'll work alongside physicians and caregivers performing a wide range of minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using advanced imaging technology. You'll play an important role in delivering exceptional patient care while contributing to one of healthcare's most dynamic imaging specialties.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Applicable State License
- An American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) technologist who is currently attending and receiving formal training from an accredited training program or successful completion of formal training from an approved/accredited school or a licensed American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) technologist who has been selected to cross-train in another modality

Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures
- Ensure proper patient identification, preparation, and education
- Utilize critical thinking and independent decision-making skills
- Adhere to radiation safety, infection prevention, and sterile technique standards
- Evaluate image quality and maintain equipment competency
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
- Participate in on-call coverage requirements as applicable
