Requirements

Completion of a two-year, post-high school training program in an accredited school of Radiologic Technology REQUIRED
MSRT/ARRT (Mammography) certification upon hire REQUIRED
Valid Massachusetts State Radiology/Mammography License upon hire REQUIRED
Knowledge of the principles and procedures of diagnostic radiology and mammography, and the operation and maintenance of radiologic equipment including mammography REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

2–3 years of experience as a Mammographer, with demonstrated proficiency in diagnostic radiology and mammography procedures preferred
Advanced knowledge of mammography equipment operation and maintenance preferred
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills preferred
Ability to provide technical supervision and mentor less experienced staff or students preferred
Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to patient safety and diagnostic accuracy preferred

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality mammography exams in accordance with established protocols to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment
Operate and maintain radiologic and mammography equipment, ensuring optimal performance and patient safety
Communicate effectively with patients to address concerns, explain procedures, and ensure a comfortable experience
Provide technical supervision and mentorship to staff technologists and students
Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards, maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines
Support other areas or modalities as needed
