About The Position
Baptist Health is hiring a full-time Surgical Posting Coordinator at Baptist Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. This is a day-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The coordinator schedules surgical cases for an orthopedic practice supporting sports medicine and total joint replacement surgeons. The role works closely with the operating room team to schedule surgeries, order applicable supplies, and coordinate patient care. It also involves communicating with patients and ensuring pre-surgery requirements—including insurance authorization, primary care clearance, and pre-surgical preparation—are completed.
Requirements
- Two years of experience in a medical facility.
- Two years of knowledge of medical terminology.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.

- Two years of surgical experience.
