About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to join the Imaging Department at Baptist Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity scheduled Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The MRI Technologist performs MRI exams, operates MRI equipment, and prepares patients for procedures by explaining what to expect. The role works closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate, timely diagnostic information while ensuring high-quality procedures and patient safety. Eligible hires may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000.

Requirements

Vocational school education or an associate's degree.
One of the following credentials is required: ARMRIT; ARRT (R); Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT); or ARRT (MR).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
If holding CRT or ARRT (R), obtain the ARRT (MRI) registry within 18 months.

Perform high-quality MRI procedures.

Take precautions to protect oneself, patients, and others from potential harm related to the magnetic field.
Identify, prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner and in accordance with state and federal regulations or lawful institutional policy.
Prepare patients for MRI exams and explain the procedure.
Operate MRI equipment and work with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate, timely diagnostic information.
