About The Position

Baptist Health is hiring a Radiology Technologist for its Diagnostic Imaging Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a full-time, daytime position scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The technologist prepares rooms, positions patients, operates imaging equipment, and captures diagnostic images to support clinical decisions. The role works closely with nurses and physicians and provides safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care, including care for pediatric patients.

Requirements

Vocational school education.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
One of the following is required: Licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) from DOH; Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CI); or Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
Comfort working with pediatric patients.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience preferred.
Radiology or imaging experience preferred.
Hospital-setting experience preferred.
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential from CCI is preferred.

Report to the Lead Technologist on shift.
Comply with mandatory education and health requirements.
Identify, prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner and in accordance with state and federal regulations or lawful institutional policy.
Prepare rooms, position patients, operate imaging equipment, and capture diagnostic images.
