About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for its Diagnostic Imaging Department at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, Florida. The role involves preparing rooms and positioning patients to capture clear diagnostic images that support clinical decisions. The technologist works closely with nurses and physicians, operates imaging equipment, and provides safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care. This is a PRN opportunity with varied shifts; participation in weekend and call rotations is required. The position reports to the Lead Technologist on shift.

Requirements

Vocational school education.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
One of the following credentials is required: Licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) – DOH; Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography, ARRT (CI); or Registered Radiologic Technologist, ARRT.
Comfort with pediatric patients.
Participation in weekend and call rotation is required.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience preferred.
Radiology or imaging experience preferred.
Experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) – CCI, Cardiovascular preferred.

Collaborate with nurses and physicians and operate imaging equipment to provide safe, accurate, and compassionate care.
