About The Position

Baptist Health is hiring a PRN Radiology Technologist for the Diagnostic Imaging Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida. The technologist prepares imaging rooms, positions patients, and operates imaging equipment to obtain clear diagnostic images that support clinical decisions. The role works closely with nurses and physicians and provides safe, accurate, compassionate care, including care for pediatric patients. The position reports to the Lead Technologist on shift. An eligible hire may receive up to a $500 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

Vocational school education.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
A required credential: Licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) – DOH; Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CI); or Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
Comfort with pediatric patients.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience preferred.
Radiology or imaging experience preferred.
Hospital-setting experience preferred.
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) – CCI – Cardiovascular preferred.

Identify, prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner and in accordance with state and federal regulations or lawful institutional policy.
Prepare imaging rooms, position patients, and operate imaging equipment to capture clear diagnostic images.
Collaborate with nurses and physicians to provide safe, accurate, and compassionate care.
Provide care to pediatric patients.
