About The Position

Baptist Health is hiring a Radiology Technologist for its Diagnostic Imaging Department at Baptist Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. This is a part-time days opportunity, working Thursday and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The technologist prepares rooms, positions patients, and captures diagnostic images to support clinical decisions. The role involves collaborating with nurses and physicians, operating imaging equipment, and providing safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care. The position is located at Beaches - Main Building, 1350 S 13th Ave, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250.

Requirements

Vocational school education.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
One of the following credentials is required: Licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - DOH; Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography, ARRT (CI); or Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Radiology or imaging experience is preferred.
Experience working in a hospital setting is preferred.

Nice To Haves

Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) - CCI – Cardiovascular is preferred.

Perform high-quality radiographic procedures.

Report to the Lead Technologist on shift.
Comply with mandatory education and health requirements.
Identify, prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner and in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations or lawful institutional policy.
Prepare rooms and position patients to capture clear diagnostic images.
Collaborate with nurses and physicians, operate imaging equipment, and provide safe, accurate, and compassionate care.
Work comfortably with pediatric patients.
