About The Position

We're looking for Support Workers in the Inverness area. As a Support Worker with Cera, you will be playing a fundamental part in improving vulnerable people's lives through the care and support that you provide. You will be supporting male clients who may have physical or learning disabilities, and you will support them in their day-to-day activities in and outside of the home to enable them to live a more independent and sociable life. The role may include elements of personal care. We are looking for individuals who are kind and compassionate, patient and friendly. No experience is required and full training is given.

Requirements

  • Must be a driver.
  • Friendly personality.
  • Patient.
  • Able to interact and build relationships.
  • Able to overcome communication barriers.
  • Willing to integrate into clients' lives.

Nice To Haves

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Social Care (through work-based learning)

Responsibilities

  • Supporting male clients who may have physical or learning disabilities.

  • Encouraging clients to build their own social network and interact with families and friends.
