This position provides direct front line support to the individuals in the START program. The Disability Support Worker provides person-centered support to individuals participating in the START Program. Working within residential and community settings, the role promotes independence, choice, inclusion, and quality of life by assisting with daily living activities, community participation, skill development, and personal goals identified in individualized support plans. The Disability Support Worker supports individuals in a respectful, safe, and culturally responsive manner while fostering meaningful participation in home and community life.
