About The Position
Average hourly rate is $17.63 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.). This position requires working at least one day per weekend and some evening hours. As a Transport Support Worker, you will provide transportation and visitation support for children and families involved in the child welfare system. You’ll play a critical role in promoting the well-being of children, participate in staff meetings and trainings, and coordinate with other agencies providing Permanency Services.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years of experience in child and family services
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Flexibility
- Punctuality
- Commitment to advocacy for children and their families
- Evening availability is required for at least one day a week
- Working at least one day per weekend
