About The Position
Support Staff are essential to the daily operations of Nirvana Cannabis’s dispensary. This hands-on, fast-paced role supports customers and the sales floor, helping provide a smooth, compliant, and enjoyable guest experience. The position offers exposure to multiple areas of dispensary operations, including reception, floor support, and point-of-sale operations, with hands-on training in compliance, customer engagement, and retail best practices. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must meet all state requirements for employment in the cannabis industry.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Friendly, approachable, and service-oriented.
- Reliable and detail-focused, especially with cash handling and compliance.
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain professional under pressure.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn about the cannabis industry.
- Positive attitude, integrity, and commitment to excellent customer service.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of retail experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and create a positive first impression.
- Educate guests on cannabis products, strains, medicinal uses, and consumption methods.
- Verify customer IDs and ensure compliance with state regulations.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dispensary environment.
- Support teammates through clear communication and teamwork.
