About The Position
Support Staff are essential to the daily operations of Nirvana Cannabis’s dispensary. This hands-on, fast-paced role supports customers and the sales floor while helping ensure each guest has a smooth, compliant, and enjoyable experience. The position offers exposure to multiple areas of dispensary operations and is suitable for individuals interested in learning about cannabis retail. The role includes welcoming customers, educating them about cannabis products and use, checking identification for regulatory compliance, processing sales through a POS system, maintaining the dispensary, and collaborating with teammates. Nirvana Cannabis provides hands-on training in reception, floor support, and point-of-sale operations, as well as experience in compliance, customer engagement, and retail best practices. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Meet all state requirements for employment in the cannabis industry.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Friendly, approachable, and service-oriented.
- Reliable and detail-focused, particularly with cash handling and compliance.
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain professional under pressure.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn about the cannabis industry.
- Positive attitude, integrity, and commitment to excellent customer service.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of retail experience is preferred; previous retail experience is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
