About The Position

Support Staff at Marrakech support individuals with developmental and physical disabilities in a residential group home setting. The role helps individuals live safe and fulfilling lives while building trusting relationships that encourage independence and personal choice. The work is person-centered and focused on enhancing quality of life, promoting independence, and providing support with dignity, respect, and meaningful connection. The position is based in New Haven, Connecticut, and is offered as full-time and part-time opportunities. Paid training and career growth are available.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Connecticut driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain DDS Medication Certification, CPR, and First Aid.
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is helpful but not required.

• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities.
• Existing DDS Medication Certification; otherwise, certification can be obtained after hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living skills, including personal care, meals, and routines.
• Support medical needs and appointments.
• Follow individualized support and behavior plans.
• Encourage community involvement and social engagement.
• Complete routine overnight safety checks for overnight staff.
• Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
