About The Position

The Support Flex Associate drives sales and delivers a positive customer experience by accurately and efficiently processing inbound truck deliveries so new merchandise is ready for customers. The role also performs outbound merchandise activities, supports facilities maintenance, maintains back-of-house organization, and works with the merchandising team to place and sign products on the sales floor. This is an hourly position. The associate helps achieve personal and store goals, supports inventory accuracy and store operations, and assists merchandising and fulfillment teams with floor sets, promotional displays, price changes, and customer orders. The role includes providing customer assistance during busy periods, maintaining operational standards and cleanliness, following safety and asset protection procedures, and contributing to a positive team culture.

Ability to bend, reach, and stretch for products, and to lift, carry, and move at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Take ownership and initiative in achieving personal goals, store objectives, and daily priorities.
Unload truck deliveries; sort cartons by department; process merchandise; remove plastic; and hang items as needed to prepare products for the sales floor.
Follow operational processes and procedures to enhance productivity.
Apply sensor tags and complete product transfers, damage processing, and RFID tasks to support inventory accuracy.
Assist with facilities processes, including lighting and recycling programs, work orders, store maintenance, and housekeeping.
Support merchandising and store fulfillment teams with floor sets, product presentations, promotional sets, price changes, and picking and packing customer orders.
Maintain operational standards by replenishing supplies, supporting store recovery, and ensuring cleanliness.
Organize and properly store tools, supplies, excess stock, fixtures, and other equipment.
Use training tools and other resources, act on feedback, and stay informed about products, promotions, policies, and store events.
Warmly acknowledge and assist customers, support the store during peak traffic and coverage periods, and complete other assigned tasks.
Build connections with teammates, share knowledge, and celebrate individual and team achievements.
Follow asset protection procedures, safety guidelines, and security protocols to support shortage control and minimize risk.
