About The Position

The Support Flex Associate is an hourly store role that drives sales and delivers a positive customer experience by processing inbound truck deliveries accurately and efficiently and ensuring new merchandise is ready for customers. The associate also handles outbound merchandise activities, supports facilities maintenance, maintains back-of-house organization, and works with the merchandising team to place and sign products on the sales floor. The role includes supporting inventory accuracy, store fulfillment, merchandising and floor sets, facilities processes, store recovery, cleanliness, and daily operational standards. The associate also assists customers during peak traffic and coverage periods, follows asset protection and safety procedures, and contributes to a positive store culture.

Ability to bend, reach, and stretch for products, and lift, carry, and move at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Take ownership and initiative in achieving personal goals, store objectives, and daily priorities.
Unload truck deliveries; separate cartons by department; process merchandise; remove plastic; and hang items as needed to prepare products for the sales floor.
Follow operational processes and procedures to enhance productivity.
Apply sensor tags, process product transfers and damages, and complete RFID tasks to support inventory accuracy.
Assist with facilities processes, including lighting and recycling programs, work orders, store maintenance, and housekeeping.
Support merchandising and store fulfillment teams with floor sets, product presentations, promotional sets, price changes, and picking and packing customer orders.
Replenish supplies, support store recovery, maintain cleanliness, and properly organize and store tools, supplies, excess stock, fixtures, and equipment.
Use training tools and resources, embrace feedback, build knowledge of operational procedures, and stay informed about products, promotions, policies, and store events.
Acknowledge and assist customers, support the store during peak traffic and coverage periods, and complete other assigned tasks.
Build connections with teammates, share knowledge, and celebrate individual and team achievements.
Follow asset protection procedures, safety guidelines, and security protocols to support shortage control and minimize risk.
