About The Position

The Supply Chain Operations Handler supports patient care by ensuring essential supplies are delivered accurately and efficiently. The role receives, puts away, picks, and delivers supplies to patient areas and rooms, working with clinical staff to ensure the right supplies are available when needed so clinicians can focus on bedside care. The position also handles mail, patient records, and other items; maintains stock and stocking locations; performs inventory counts and checks for expired items; and provides customer service and operational support. This is a 0.5 FTE position working 40 hours per two-week pay period on an 8-hour day/evening shift, with an every-other-weekend rotation.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have education and/or experience needed to meet the required functional competencies listed in the job description.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's or vocational degree.
• 0 to 2 years of warehouse/inventory experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, put away, pick, and deliver supplies, mail, patient records, and other items as required.
• Stock needed items, rotate stock, and check for outdates.
• Scan, hand-count, and perform cycle counts.
• Label and sticker products as needed.
• Ship and receive items and complete courier setup.
• Pull reports from an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system such as Lawson/Infor, Workday, or Peoplesoft when needed.
• Answer phones, troubleshoot concerns, and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Maintain stocking locations.
• Clean and organize stock rooms as needed.
• Ensure shift work is complete.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
