About The Position

This is an 8-month co-op term position for a Supply Chain Co-op student, running from September 2026 to April 2027. The role is based at one of PepsiCo's manufacturing facilities in Canada. The co-op student will gain critical experience by improving production efficiencies, innovating business solutions, and implementing process changes. They will also contribute to PepsiCo's Pep+ goals, aiming to drive positive action for the plant, people, and planet. The student will have the opportunity to present their contributions to the Supply Chain Leadership team. Key activities include motivating a frontline team, problem-solving, removing barriers to "win the shift," and tracking business critical KPIs to identify trends for meaningful projects that advance PepsiCo's goals.

Requirements

  • Available to work from September 2026 - April 2027
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sciences or similar program
  • Second year plus students preferred
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to working with and leading people
  • Proven problem solver and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Collaborative team-player with a “roll-up your sleeves” approach

  • Building people capability through effective employee relations, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel
  • Applying theoretical understanding and practical knowledge of operations, repair procedures, trouble shooting and preventative maintenance to support facility equipment reliability
  • Executing Annual Operating Plan for Production
  • Achieving performance standards with regards to safety, line utilization and quality
  • Tracking key performance indicators/costs, anticipating and correcting trends which would compromise achievement of financial targets
  • Overseeing and assuring facility equipment reliability to minimize downtime
  • Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety regulations
  • Ensuring compliance with all quality management programs and food safety systems, such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
