About The Position

This co-op position is for the Fall Term of 2026, running from September to December. The co-op student will be based at a PepsiCo manufacturing facility in Canada. The role involves gaining critical experience and skills by improving production efficiencies, innovating business solutions, and implementing process changes. The co-op student will contribute to PepsiCo's Pep+ goals, aiming to drive positive action for the plant, people, and planet. A key part of the experience will be presenting contributions to the Supply Chain Leadership team. The role includes motivating a frontline team, problem-solving issues, and removing barriers to "win the shift." The co-op student will also track business-critical KPIs to identify trends and focus on meaningful projects that align with PepsiCo's goal of being a Faster, Stronger, and Better Company.

Requirements

  • Available to work from September to December 2026
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sciences or similar program
  • Second year plus students preferred
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to working with and leading people
  • Proven problem solver and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Collaborative team-player with a “roll-up your sleeves” approach

  • Building people capability through effective employee relations, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel
  • Applying theoretical understanding and practical knowledge of operations, repair procedures, trouble shooting and preventative maintenance to support facility equipment reliability
  • Executing Annual Operating Plan for Production
  • Achieving performance standards with regards to safety, line utilization and quality
  • Tracking key performance indicators/costs, anticipating and correcting trends which would compromise achievement of financial targets
  • Overseeing and assuring facility equipment reliability to minimize downtime
  • Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety regulations
  • Ensuring compliance with all quality management programs and food safety systems, such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
