About The Position

This co-op position is based out of a PepsiCo manufacturing facility in Canada. The co-op student will gain critical experience and skills by improving production efficiencies, innovating business solutions, and implementing process changes. The role is also aligned with Pepsi+ goals, aiming to drive positive action for the plant, people, and planet. The co-op student will have the opportunity to present their contributions to the Supply Chain Leadership team. Responsibilities include motivating a frontline team, problem-solving issues, and removing barriers to "win the shift." The role also involves tracking business-critical KPIs to identify trends for meaningful projects that advance PepsiCo's journey to be a Faster, Stronger, and Better Company. Additional gains include building people capability through employee relations, training, and communication; applying knowledge of operations, repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance; executing the Annual Operating Plan for Production; achieving performance standards in safety, line utilization, and quality; tracking key performance indicators/costs and correcting trends; overseeing facility equipment reliability; ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations; and ensuring compliance with quality management programs and food safety systems like HACCP, GMP, and SSOPs.

Requirements

  • Available to work from September to December 2026
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sciences or similar program
  • Second year plus students preferred
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to working with and leading people
  • Proven problem solver and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Collaborative team-player with a “roll-up your sleeves” approach

  • Overseeing and assuring facility equipment reliability to minimize downtime
  • Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety regulations
  • Ensuring compliance with all quality management programs and food safety systems, such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
