About The Position

This co-op position offers students the opportunity to gain critical experience and skills by improving production efficiencies, innovating business solutions, and implementing process changes within one of PepsiCo's world-class manufacturing facilities in Canada. Participants will contribute to Pep+ goals, drive positive action for the plant, people, and planet, and present their contributions to the Supply Chain Leadership team. The role involves tracking business-critical KPIs to identify trends and focus on meaningful projects that advance PepsiCo's journey to be a Faster, Stronger, and Better Company.

Requirements

  • Available to work from May 2026 - September 2026
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sciences or similar program
  • Second year plus students preferred.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to working with and leading people.
  • Proven problem solver and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Collaborative team-player with a “roll-up your sleeves” approach
  • A passion for and a demonstrated commitment to extra-curricular activities and/or community involvement
  • An agile individual who takes initiative and welcomes change with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

  • Improving production efficiencies
  • Innovating business solutions
  • Implementing process changes
  • Tracking business critical KPIs to identify trends
  • Building people capability through effective employee relations, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel
  • Applying theoretical understanding and practical knowledge of operations, repair procedures, trouble shooting and preventative maintenance to support facility equipment reliability
  • Executing Annual Operating Plan for Production
  • Achieving performance standards with regards to safety, line utilization and quality
  • Tracking key performance indicators/costs, anticipating and correcting trends which would compromise achievement of financial targets
  • Overseeing and assuring facility equipment reliability to minimize downtime
  • Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety regulations
  • Ensuring compliance with all quality management programs and food safety systems, such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
