Supervisory Supply Systems Analyst
About The Position
Directs development and improvement of enterprise data products, supply-system analysis, data visualizations, dashboards, management reports, and decision-support capabilities. Provides command-level direction for analysis of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other automated supply, distribution, financial, and data-management systems. Establishes policies, analytical standards, business rules, and quality-control processes for workload forecasts, baselines, and staffing requirements. Serves as the principal advisor to senior leaders on enterprise supply systems, data management, workload management, and performance analysis issues. Directs high-visibility studies, special projects, and enterprise transformation initiatives. Forms cross-functional teams, establishes milestones, and evaluates outcomes against mission, cost, and resource objectives. Exercises full supervisory authority over a multidisciplinary workforce of Systems Analysts, Data Managers, and Supply Management personnel.
Requirements
- One year of specialized experience directly related to the position.
- For GS-14, one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-13 in the Federal service, military, or private sector.
- Experience evaluating and validating automated supply and distribution system requirements to resolve interface anomalies and data defects across an operational enterprise.
- Experience developing quantitative workload forecasts and labor standards, and analyzing operational trends and capacity constraints to justify program budget requirements.
- Experience conducting complex technical analyses to establish operational-performance metrics, draft strategic distribution policies, and advise executive stakeholders on systemic supply-chain issues.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must meet applicable eligibility requirements, including time-in-grade for GS positions, time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and other regulatory requirements by the announcement’s closing date.
- Substitution of education for specialized experience is not allowed at this grade level.
