About The Position

Beyond Yoga, a premium active lifestyle brand founded in Los Angeles in 2005, creates activewear grounded in body positivity. The brand joined Levi Strauss & Co. in 2021. The Supervisor is accountable to the Store Manager for driving process adoption, managing the store as manager on duty during opening and closing, and supporting positive resolutions to customer concerns. The role oversees store operations and cash handling, coaches the team on sales and customer service, and helps deliver a compelling, inclusive store experience.

Requirements

• Progressive retail leadership experience, with demonstrated skills in supervising, coaching, and training.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Ability to perform essential job functions, including lifting up to 40 pounds and the physical activities described in the posting.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of store processes and open and close the store as manager on duty.
• Efficiently manage cash handling and merchandise operations, including shipment processing, floor sets, markdowns, and replenishment, while maintaining standards.
• Help resolve customer concerns positively and partner with the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager on escalated issues.
• Supervise and consistently coach the team on selling culture and customer connections to support high levels of service and sales.
• Supervise the store team when another member of management is absent.
• Assess and strategize ways to achieve performance goals, including conversion, units per transaction, sales per hour, and other measurable KPIs.
• Support onboarding for new hires.
• Build relationships and foster a positive, diverse, and inclusive work environment.
• Collaborate with the store team and Home Office partners on local community connections and events that build brand awareness and engagement.
• Create a compelling store experience by engaging customers and serving as a visible service leader.
• Represent the brand and cultivate the company’s core values.
