About The Position

Beyond Yoga is a premium active lifestyle brand founded in Los Angeles in 2005 and grounded in body positivity. The company creates activewear and lifestyle clothing and is part of Levi Strauss & Co. This part-time supervisor role is based at the Beyond Yoga store at Kierland Commons in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Supervisor is accountable to the Store Manager and helps lead store operations, customer service, sales performance, and team development. They serve as manager on duty when needed, including opening and closing the store and supervising the team when another member of management is absent.

Requirements

• Progressive retail leadership experience and demonstrated skills in supervising, coaching, and training.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Ability to perform essential job functions and lift up to 40 pounds; duties may involve standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, crouching, bending, stooping, talking, hearing, reaching, typing, reaching overhead, and climbing ladders.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Collaborative role model who exhibits behaviors aligned with a culture of inclusion and belonging.
• Self-starter with a growth mindset who enjoys learning new tools and adapting to new initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of store processes and open and close the store as manager on duty.
• Support resolution of customer concerns, involving the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in elevated issues.
• Manage cash handling and merchandise operations, including shipment processing, floor sets, markdowns, and replenishment, while maintaining standards.
• Supervise and coach the team on selling culture and customer connection to deliver high service and sales.
• Supervise the store team when another member of management is absent.
• Assess and strategize ways to achieve performance goals, including conversion, units per transaction, sales per hour, and other KPIs.
• Support onboarding for new hires.
• Build relationships and foster a positive, diverse, and inclusive work environment.
• Collaborate with the store team and Home Office partners on local community connections and events that build brand awareness and engagement.
• Create a compelling store experience by engaging customers and modeling visible service leadership.
• Represent the brand and cultivate the company’s core values.
