The Part Time Supervisor is accountable to the Store Manager for driving process adoption, opening and closing the store as manager on duty, and supporting positive resolutions to customer concerns. The role manages cash handling and merchandise operations, supervises and coaches the store team, supports onboarding, and helps achieve store performance goals. The supervisor also models customer service, fosters an inclusive work environment, and helps build local community connections and brand engagement.

This position is based in Santa Monica, California, and is part-time. The posted hourly pay range is $18.80–$31.30, or the higher applicable minimum wage, with compensation varying based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Progressive retail leadership experience, with demonstrated skills in supervising, coaching, and training.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform essential job functions, including lifting up to 40 pounds and standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, crouching, bending, stooping, talking, and hearing; occasional reaching, typing, overhead reaching, and ladder climbing may be required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Collaborative role-modeling and behaviors aligned with inclusion and belonging.
• Self-starter with a growth mindset, willingness to learn new tools, and adaptability to new initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of store processes and open and close the store as manager on duty.
• Support resolution of customer concerns and partner with the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager on escalated issues.
• Manage cash handling and merchandise operations, including shipment processing, floor sets, markdowns, and replenishment, while maintaining standards.
• Supervise and coach the team on selling culture and customer connection to support excellent service and sales.
• Supervise the store team when another member of management is absent.
• Assess and develop strategies to achieve performance goals, including conversion, units per transaction, and sales per hour.
• Support onboarding for new hires.
• Build relationships and foster a positive, diverse, and inclusive work environment.
• Collaborate with store team and Home Office partners on community connections and events that drive brand awareness and engagement.
• Create a compelling store experience by engaging customers and modeling visible service leadership.
• Represent the brand and embody and cultivate company core values.
